Do what I did, keep a look out for specials at rent-to-own places. Make sure you get a new machine, one that just came in. They will not be exactly new new because they might be a 6 months to a year out of date but they are still new because no one else has used them. Most plans are 12 months but they will let you have it for 18 months if you ask. That is how I am getting my computer. You also may want to make several visits and find someone who has rented something from the store and now has a coupon that gives you half off for your first month's rent. They always send you these after you have already entered into a contract and paid your first month. So since they can't use it maybe they will let you have it. If you can't find anyone let me know which rent-to-own store is in your area and I will see if I have the coupon for you.

Many stores have layaway plans/credit plans. This will allow you to pay when you can and get the computer when you have paid it off. Of course you have to be over 18 and have a job for these plans.
