I read a word the other day for 'someone who travels a lot', and the word ended with something like '...ptic' or '..paraptic' or something.Any ideas to what this word could be?It's really bugging me!

I think "peripatetic" is what you are looking for. However, the correct term would be "tired" :D. I travel alot and, don't get me wrong I love travelling, but tired is a far better word than peripatetic.

Peripatetic is the word you are looking for.
A peripatetic person may embark on prodigious peregrinations(journeys) as well.
