I am so, so, so sick of the phony "Christianity" professed by Dubya and his ilk! REAL Christians believe in the things that Jesus said--like "Turn the other cheek", "Love your neighbor as yourself" (And He DIDN'T say..."...unless your neighbor is a Muslim"), and "It is more difficult for a rich man to enter Heaven than to pass a camel through the eye of a needle."

Can you just imagine if Jesus was alive today? The so-called religious Right would probably stone Him.

And, don't ever forget that the only time He lost His temper was at the money changers in the Temple. What does THAT say to those who only get richer and richer fighting a "war" and using their (religious) beliefs as the justification? Jesus never forced a political agenda--on his followers or others!

I love the way you turn your awesome answer into an equally awesome question! ALL arguments against compassionate diplomacy, or compassionate humanity are invalid, ALL of the time! We are all one! Separation is an illusion, and whatever we do to, or for another, we do to, or for ourselves!

if you use a 2000 yr old handbook with no revisions for the modern language you are going to have a thousand different intrepretations and many people who use it for their own ends.
