I just changed over to a Sony Ericsson (W850i) and it came with a USB cable. I have used my CD but can't actually install the Sony Ericsson PC suite because Vista is not yet supported. I just connect the phone to the PC and check in "My Computer" and I see an extra Drive H for the phone which I open. Then I open my Music folder and just drag and drop what I want from the Music folder over to the Drive H (phone) folder. Works for me even without the CD.

Need a software called mobile tools from Motorola. They want to make money so you have to buy from them (about $20-). with that software, you can download your phone address book to your PC, upload your MP3 to your phone, your MID(i) for your ring tone, your pictures to and from the phone.
