who has problems with Home Owner Associations??????

I want to know what I can do within the law to get revenge.

HOA's are small Nazi governments usually filled with people who have nothing better to do but pick on you. Unfortunately, usually they are pretty sure they have a violation before proceeding. Im an eye for an eye guy too, but especially if you are in Texas, they are super powerful. They can foreclose on you. If you dont roll over they can really hurt you bad. If you want out, sell your house. Sounds ridiculious huh? Thats how bad HOA's are.

Depends on the problem. If the Home Owner Association charter and rules for where you live are clearly spelled out, you may not have much to stand on. However, you can always challenge anything that you feel has done you wrong in small claims court.

First you have to attend the meetings. Next ready the bylaws, thoroughly. You'll see where, with a majority, you can at least get the majority vote. But it'll take some work. Their power rests in knowing that many homeowners won't attend the meetings and voice their opinions.

As for revenge, I don't know. Some have bylaws that allow them to take your property and sell it if the dues are not paid. That should be your greatest concern.

The association is your association if you're a home owner. You should go to meetings and express yourself. I don't see what the point of wanting revenge is.

I think people are stupid, so why would I buy a house where I have to join a organization composed of my stupid pathetic neighbors, who think their opinions are important!

Live in the country, where you can be free of morons, grow your own food, collect your own clean water, make your own power, and shoot trespassers legally!
