Here's others...

1. The knight in the bayeux tapestry which got shot in the eye wasn't the king for sure, the other knight, getting smacked, was.

2. Man didn't land on the moon, the whole thing was done with photographs, like the REM song.

It depends on whether you want to have a useless battle with your father.
Unless your father is over 300 years old and was there to witness the writing and acting of the plays, he has no more information that a lot of people who have studied intensely and can't agree. The actors who did the plays spent a bunch of money and effort to honor the man with a book of the plays shortly after he died, and it seems likely they could have framed it in some other context (Great Plays of the Globe Theatre) if he didn't write them.
If we didn't land on the moon, then the things we left behind, which are being used to reflect laser beams from the earth must have gotten there by magic. The usual reasoning is the quality of the pictures, critiqued by someone who has never taken pictures on the moon to see how good or bad they are.
Since he is so sure of his opinions, he probably has one on the 9/11 attacks, especially on how fast Building 7 fell, opinions which are often cited by people who have never seen a building broken at the bottom fall, so have no standard other than implosions. "It looks like an implosion, not like a building going down" is pretty useless when there are no other examples of buildings going down for comparison.
Learn to say "If you think so" with doubt in your voice and wander off to discuss with people who make more sense or at least have experience with what they are talking about.
