Carter wins hands down. Bush has really screwed up with this whole Iraq adventure, mostly because of bad planning.
But 12% of the population is not unemployed, interest rates are not 18% on home mortgages,we don't have a bunch of Americans being held hostage by some tin horn dictator for over a year with no action on the part of the US government. So I guess we are still doing better than under Carter. He virtually destroyed this country and everyone with a brain knew it,now Libs want to deny it because he was a "nice guy" Too bad he was also a moron and a pathetic excuse for a leader.

No one will know who the hell Carter is in a century from now... he is a mere dot on the presidential line. Bush they'll probably remember... because of 9/11 & Iraq. War time presidents are usually remembered (either good or bad).
Do you know which # president James K. Polk is?

In ineptness, Jimmy Carter, because he tried to do good but failed because he was incompetent as our President. Bush tries to do evil and has been largely very successful. All of the killing, chaos, and destruction he has caused (not just in Iraq, but in the US) was not so much due to incompetence, but by intentional design. When you hire people for non-political jobs based on personal loyalty and politics rather than experience and qualifications, what can you expect? Do you think Bush cares? He only cares as far as his "legacy" is concerned.
As far as who is worse, if you want to count Bush as a "President" (even though he stole both elections), he is by far the worst ever, even worse than Reagan. He is an evil psychopathic mass murderer who needs to be stopped as soon as possible. He needs to be impeached, removed from office, put on trial for his crimes against the United States. He is subject to the death penalty for treason, but unlike Bush, we should have mercy and give him life without parole - use him as an example for any future Republicans who have a desire to commit crimes against our people.

Carter's place int the history books is slightly below the middle of the pack.
Bush, so far, is in the bottom 5. If time somehow demonstrates that he knows more about foreign policy and economics than every one else on the planet, he will rise in the future.

Bush ended terrorism in the US, lowered taxes for every citizen, had the lowest unemployment and strongest economy in anyones memory and responded to an attack on our shores with the most rapid victory in the history of warfare (although the policework has gone poorly).
but liberals teach history...about a draw

First of all President Bush is not inept.
Now to answer your question, what was the other guy's name?
Carter is a fool who has locked himself in a dark dank closet and recreated his presidency on his own time line. I usually don't do funerals, but when that moron dies, I'm going to his just to make sure he is really gone for good. Part of my military career was under Carter, I was almost embarrassed to admit I was a warrior.
