I first light a candle in my bedroom. Next, I make a cup of bed time tea (no caffeine) and take a long hot shower with my ipod music quietly playing Robin Thicke's new cd. This really sets me in the mood to sleep. Good luck & sweet dreams. Oh, by the way don't forget to blow out that candle!!!

The worry tree. There is a story of a man who, before walking into his home where his wife and children awaited him, he would always stop and gently touch the branches of a tree outside his door. When leaving for work he would repeat the process before starting his commute. His family life was wonderful and after many years he related this story to his soon-to-marry son. Every night he would stop and as he touched each branch, on it he would put one of the problems of the day until all his work problems were allotted to the tree. That way he never let his work problems interfere with his home life. Every morning he would then again take on those problems before leaving for work. The odd thing is that there were never as many problems the next morning as there was when he put them there the night before.
Morale of the story it to leave the worries outside your door before entering your home. You will be happier and sleep better. As for tonight, reading all these answers should put you to sleep.

listen to some calm jazz music. or just put on some music and start busting out dancing. then you will be so tired that you will fall asleep. [that works well i swear it happens alot]
