Why can't I see Mengele's labs at Auschwitz?

I really think it would be interesting to visit Auschwitz, but I hear they won't allow you into the labs where Mengele carried out his experiments. Why is this the case? Who can get in? I don't want to go there if I can't see where the most interesting part took place!!! Is what I hear true? Can I not get into the labs?

why would you want to see the horror of what those damn Nazis did? anyway, i think you can, but i dont think they allow u to see everytinng.
