Every body needs a certain amount of Privacy in his/her immediate environment.
This allows them to introspect on various issues concerning them and strike a balance ;
to converse with the Almighty as per their individual faith ;
to follow the cultural life in which they have been brought up ;
to protect their environment in which their families reside ;
to speak the language with others of their types and so express their views freely ;
to carry on a profession/occupation of their choice ;
in short, to develop physically, socially, artistically and spiritually in an atmosphere of Peace and Tranquillity.

However, this need for individual privacy fiercely guarded by them also should teach them to Respect the needs for the same in other individuals. But there are those with their own vested interests, who unfortunately somehow become leaders and fuel the unrest created by some minor issues instead of peacefully solving them leading to a conflagration and consequent destruction of Peace and Tranquillity so very necessary for a state of individual Privacy where one can think rationally. This not only festers in that particular region but spreads to the surroundings leading to the same there.

When the situation becomes chronic, there remains nothing else but for others to insulate themselves from the troublesome regions/people to maintain a semblance of Privacy in their own backyard by drawing their own Boundaries and guarding them fiercely.

I think its not the boundaries that is the reason for the miserable state of affairs, rather the intolerability for anything that exist out of your boundary.

Boundaries be it physical, mental or just imaginary, help us define ourselves. physical boundaries make governing and managing our resources efficiently. Whereas mental boundaries and sometimes the absence of them help us construct our own identity. But this identity is ever changing and shifts gear from context to context.

Problems occur when we take our boundaries and identities as absolute and the only boundary existing. For example an Indian and a Pakistani may share lots of things like taste in music, profession, philosophy in life, but as long as they are going to hate each other on the basis of their nationality... well nothing can be done.

We just have to accept that there are boundaries but we still share a lot of thing which can not be contained within such boundaries.

Hemant

We need some boundaries, structure, discipline. You need a balance between chaos & control. Boundaries are sometimes necessary for protection, safety. To keep you safely in, to keep danger out. Human beings can be miserable if their boundaries are too tight, if they feel imprisoned but they can also be miserable if there are no boundaries & they are not safe & have no sense of structure in a disordered world...

We need both safety & freedom to be happy. If you give up either one entirely your quality of life is compromised...

Boundaries are needed to exercise every one's Chairpersonship.If boundaries are not there,we all will encroach into other's Chairpersonship.We will really make life miserable.Through mutual help,understanding,respect,and Love ,expansion of this boundary is possible.Let us expand the boundary rather than being worried of boundaries.

boundaries r man made things which has been cultivated since several civilisations in accordance to their well being to safe guard their health, wealth, community, society, culture, caste, etc. each bounded area r governed to suit the requirement of the personnel living for their comfort. as along as the trespasser useful and do not effect the system with in the boundary he/she is will accepted. it is necessary to hv limits for every thing so also to hv boundries to avoid misery due to conflict of ideas, administrations, etc.

Why do have boundy for your home?
Boundry is necessary for security and safety of your loved ones. India is a country with persons of same group. Yamuna Paar has seperate interest. Border paar has seperate interest. If there is no boundy, all Indian will rush to US without help of MP.

No, it's not necessary. Humanity is under the illusion that there is scarcity and lack in the world and that we've got to "protect what's ours" instead of sharing resources amongst all of the world's citizens. There is really more than enough resources to feed, clothe, house and educate every human being in the world, but the minority of people keep the majority of resources to themselves all due to the illusion of scarcity that we live within.

as birds are free to fly wherever they want as the animals roam wherever they like so why can't we human beings known as the most knowledgeable creature roam free, so if there is universal brotherhood, if there is love, if there is no hatred, if greed is wiped out from our heart and mind if we obey the rule of live and let live this thinking of yours might turn into reality, just think till we are alive we have these boundaries we have to obtain a visa wherever we want to go but as soon as we die we can be buried wherever our dead body is better than a living soul how strange.

Like Osho said,who made the boundaries.We made it and not the God.When thousands of people are suffering in one country for food,where tons of food materials are dumped in sea in other country.The boundaries are made due to humans selfishness.

No need to feel miserable. We decide the 'boundary' for the piece of meat, chicken, rice , vegetables, fruits we eat !
It is good to demarcate our 'work area' and review it periodically based on the need of situation. STILL THERE NEED BE NO BOUNDARY IN OUR HEARTS.
There are "Big" people who 'allow' us name sake boundaries to 'our' country, but the remote is their hands ! It is our weakness to tolerate or allow them. We create our misery in ourselves, not just by drawing boundaries, but getting stuck to them mentally !
