Box of tomatoes were sitting in a back of an old truck, that was rambling down a old bumpy road. They were talking amongst themselves, all excited for their journey to the Big Market. The driver hit a bump, and Timmy Tomato bounced out of the back, onto the dirt road. The other tomatoes starred in disbelief in fear. I have never heard any plant, vegetable or fruit scream. So, no they probably do not.
