This is a true story!!
There was this punk kid you know like Benji Madden punk, not steal some lady's money or whatever. Well this kid was ran over by some jocks that hated him cause he was different, and those jocks didnt get in trouble for it cause the jury said that if he would have just been normal it wouldnt have happened. Do you agree that he should have been normal? Do you think it was right to let the jocks go free? If so why?

You seem to be talking about more than one issue.

1. The Punk was ran over. The Punk was in the wrong and the Jock was in the right. (Punk should have watched where he was going).

2. Being a Punk is not a crime. But, when they come out of their shell into the real world, whether they are conscious or not, they'd better be ready to deal with it. They must be prepared to step outside of the confines of their sheltered/secluded world.

A Punk can stay a Punk, and a Jock can stay a Jock. Each are accountable for their own actions, whether they be Jock or Punk!

In this circumstance, the Punk was the victim at fault. Not necessarily to say that he was at fault, though. Just the victim at fault.

That's so wrong. The punk kid has every right being what he wants to be, as long as he doesn't hurt or kill anybody in the process. The jocks should know better! Remember what happen in VT? It could happen to them just because they bullied a disturbed kid.

No, the jocks should have been convicted. Who is a judge to tell somebody they are different. Maybe some hate judges, but that doesnt stop him from doing it. Some people hate jocks, but how come they werent convicted for being different. Everybody is their own person. Everybody is different. End of story..

I don't think it's right at all. All the judge did was make it okay for bullies to pick on other people. What's normal anyway? I believe that only a small percentage of people would be considered "jocks". Are they the norm?

Many a young punk has turned out to be great people. This is at least vehicular manslaughter. Those jerks should be doing time no matter how all-American they think they are. I find this hard to believe as a true story in America.

That can't be true! Where did you hear this? Normal? What is normal anyway? I think that everyone has their own definition of what it is to be normal and they have every right to express it!! The stupid guys who ran him over should have been punished and I think the jury is idiotic. Was the kid ok?

I don't think it was alright for the jocks to go free. What is normal? I don't think it is normal for a bunch of jocks to beat up one person who likes to express himself.

It sounds like you are oversimplifying things. I would have to hear the full story before I decided. I know that when people instigate fights, the attacker doesn't always get in trouble.
