What are the advantages and disadvantages of SMEs in terms of management?

Please define SME and repost. I assume you mean "small- and medium- enterprises."

One disadvantage is that they usually can't afford the quality of management that a large enterprise can. One advantage is that it's usually a friendly working atmosphere.
