-have a good bass
-are upbeat (not necessarily pop, but no whinging "cuz ya had a bad day" things either)
-rap is good, (but it has to have a good beat. i dont really like the whole word-talking-is-now-music thing)

THANK YOU!!

Please be quiet, some of us are trying to get some sleep. It's very rude to blast music in your car!!!!!! Don't you have any compassion?

The best I have playing in My car, when I am not listening to Radio, are

1) Jeurselum by Parry
2) Zadock the Priest by Handel
3) Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan
4) The Water Music by Handel
5) Tocata and Fuge in D Minor
6) March to the Scaffold by Berlioz
7) Imperial March by John Williams (yes Star Wars)
8) The Great gate of Kiev and the Hut on Chicken Legs
9) The Great Khan
10) The arrival of the Queen of Sheba.

All belting out on long drives, its great. Especially when My wife starts joining in with the singing as well.

Mind you then normally have to put on a compilation CD of Country Music to please her afterwards.

If you have a sub woofer and about 1000 watts there is a Beastie Boys tune that just rules. Sorry don't know the name of the song but You would probably love it and make your neighbors not like you so much. Have fun.

Trust me on this one:

Journey - Don't Stop Believin'

It's THE BEST.

"Some will win! Some will lose! Some are born to sing the blues! Oh the movie never ends, it goes on and on and on and onnnn!"

How can you NOT love a song with lyrics like that?

there is this candy new rap team my chum confirmed me, called Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts club Band. they only have one album out, even with the undeniable fact that it extremely is quite f**king candy and a great number of the songs have some incredibly effective bass happening.
