I hate the fact that we murder one million unborn babies a year, and, though the majority of Americans disapprove of abortions, nothing can be done to stop it.

Well, America is a great country, however many people only see America as a rich, spoiled and arrogant country that has too much power in the world and has abused other countries militarily and economically and never owned up to it`s mistakes. This is true, and continues to be true. America is one of the greatest contributers to supplying weapons to non-soviet armies (including Iraq and Afganistan as well as Iran), which has sourly turned against them. People also think that the US and has also taken advantage of many poorer countries for oil or other industrial/economic gain. Also, the US has for a long time ignored enviornmental problems.

Sad to say, but with countries like China and India rising economically and militarily, the world is going to soon learn that the US wasn`t that bad after all.

I don't hate America. It gives every person that takes responsibility for themselves an opportunity to succeed. In terms of what America doesn't do right is that the middle class are right now being sold out by politics for big business.

Stem-cell research is legal in the U.S. and has been so since human embryonic stem cells were first isolated in 1998. There are dozens of groups studying them, including major stem-cell centers recently launched at Stanford and Harvard. Perhaps Democrats mean a ban on federal funding for stem-cell research. But, in fact, there is no such ban. Through the Clinton years there was a ban. Not a single penny of federal money was allowed for any embryo research. In his first year in office, however, President Bush reviewed the issue and permitted the first federal funding of stem-cell research ever.

Sorry for being off subject

There is nothing about America to be hated with in planet of apes.
Just the blind is following the blind with communication problems and herd mentality in planet of apes.
Ever wonder if living human kind hated America so much then why are they all going to immigrate over there in planet of apes.
If living human kind hate so much about America.
They will all be jumping ship and leave the dirty old man on his own instead they all want to crowd and be near him in planet of apes.

I love America. Capitalism. Freedom. Doing whatever the hell we want. Allowing negative people to focus on pessemistic views of their nation for virtually no reason. What's not to like?

I don't hate America, but too many of its people are selfish, arrogant punks who believe that their way is the only way. It's somehow devolved into a "me-first" society, and that's really sad.

I hate how laws are not enforced (e.g., immigration laws). However, America is the best country on earth!
