I'll admit, being an adolesent doesn't offer the highest paying jobs, thus one resorts to bargin gin colognes or body sprays for his "smell good" needs. Problem is, most of them smell like absolute crap. It's more of a process of trial and error I would suppose, some store clearks, especially the ones I goto, don't allow me to "Try it, before I buy it". I'm very good with cologne though, in the sence that I don't over kill and I apply them at the right places.

So are there anyones that anyone would like to reccomend? Although I asked about old spice, any brand and fragrance would apply. I am also well aware this is personal preference so our opinions may differ. But I don't smell for my sake, its for my date, friends, and basically others.

Maybe at Christmas or your birthday, you could ask for someone to buy you a bottle of cologne. You can go into any department store and check them out. Since you are young..let the clerks know ( if they start giving you grief) that you are trying to figure out which one you would like as a gift for your b-day.
Most colognes are not more than $35 - $50 a bottle and should last at least a year if you only use one spray a day.
Most people might spend about $30 -$40 for a gift , so why not a designer fragrance??
I highly recommend ....Chrome..by Frank Azzaro...mmmmm so nice!!(for men)

Personally I like English leather as much as Old Spice for younger men - steer clear of the Axe and other pheromone enhancers they tend to be really offensive and cloying. Good Luck!

if its something casual stick with old spice...but if the event or whatever is something special.....go to Macy's (for men) and they have samples of the colognes
