With the changing of times, there are a lot of things that seem to be outdated. Such as now a days it is mainstream to have a piercing other than the nose. It's much different today than it was a few years ago. My question lies with the general issue of marijuanna and how to legalize it's use. Is it a federal law? Or can a county make it possible through an Ordianance? Can majority rule? How does this work?

Some states have legalized it but the federal law trumps it. In Colorado they are having a "Smoke in" to protest. Since the law was passed by a 70 to 30 the consensus is the state mandate should be what matters.
