I think it should. Pornography is a great evil in the world and I am shocked at how ubiquitous it is in the world. It's all over the place. Don't you think the people who participate in this should get hard prison sentences? They all need to spend some serious time behind bars in order to send a clear message that porn of ANY time is evil and unacceptable. Pornography is ant-Christian. Your body is special and it is supposed to be sacred like a temple. To show it off is horrible. We need prison sentences for these lowlife people that exploit sex.

Do you agree?

NO! People 18 and over who participate and watch it are doing it of their own free will. No one is harmed, or if anyone is harmed it is of their own free will. We are not a Christian nation, we are a secular democracy.

If you are against pornography, don't participate in it and don't watch it! That is your right. But you have no right to force other people to live their lives they way you think they should.

I don't want you telling me how to live my life based on how you interpret your version of your Bible. How would you like it if I told you that my Bible says that you can't eat ham or pork, can't work on the Sabbath (Saturday), can't pray to false gods or men (Jesus), or idols (statues of Jesus), etc.?

Would you like it if I told you that you couldn't do those things, because it says so in my Bible, and if you do, I'm going to put you in prison? Or even worse, that you would be stoned to death? I don't think you'd be too happy about that. Well, I'm not happy when other people tell me how to live my life. If I want to watch porn, what business is it of yours? I'm not harming anyone. My moral values are for me to decide. Everyone has to decide for themselves how to live their lives. You don't have to approve, but you have no right to impose your beliefs on others. I think trying to do that makes you the lowlife who deserves to be in prison.

Let's think about things here: America has separation of church and state. Yup, it's true. Says so in the Constitution; go on, take a look, I'll wait.

That means that what you find anti-Christian and evil and unacceptable is not criteria for what is illegal or not. Mind you, it's a perfectly valid belief, and absolutely fine for you to hold- I'm not looking to change your mind. But you need to understand that porn stars and the people who consume pornography are all acting of their own free will, the sex is consensual, and there is nothing that qualifies porn as needing to be banned, except your Christian morality, which, we have shown, is not what this country is about. You can, of course, move over to a theocratic country where they would be happy to oblige you.

Personally, I think that porn can be both evil, but it also has the capacity to be wonderful when made and used correctly. That's just my point of view; you can keep yours. Just don't go foisting religious reasons for the reason to make something illegal.

Hope that helps.

That is certainly a merciful attitude towards sinners, eh? I'll bet you get a lot of converts. I don't think Jesus said lock up all the heatherns. As I recall he said pray for them.

This country has freedom of speech and freedom of religiion.
