Absolutely. They couldn't have died as a result of simple deportation. "I have placed my death-head formations in readiness...with orders to them to send to death mercilessly and without compassion, men, women, and children of Polish derivation and language. Only thus shall we gain the living space which we need. Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenian?" - Adolf Hitler 8 days before he invaded Poland. This is one of many facts that they are indeed responsible. This quote tells a story of the Armenian Genocide. Unfortunately, Armenians cannot do anything to get recognition from USA. One day - just one day.......

That seems to be the consensus about turkey. Why would America need to give them recognition? Are you talking about them getting a sovriegn nation? If they want that they have to earn it the way so many others have through blood sweat and tears. America can't always be the worldwide mother stopping fights and making nice with everyone.

It had to have been the Turks...they were the government of their own government, weren't they? Representative Schiff, a congressman in my neighboring district in California, is working on a bill for the U.S. to officially recognize the genocide.

The word genocide did not exist at the time, and it was war. Both sides are equally guilty. If you are truly interested, You need to look at both sides. I think Mary Pelosi is about to damage our relations with Turkey with her witchhunts. I must wonder what the true agenda is.
