Nothing requires anyone to marry. You don't want to be married, stay single. Your life, your choice.

People got married because they love each other. The feeling of not seeing a particular person for more than a minute seem unbearable. So people decided to get married.
Other reason is to legalise sex and have children. But what guys must consider before asking a woman to marry him is that, he must be certain that he is responsible to fend for her, feed her and take really good care of her, and be willing to love her til the end.

People don't have to get married. Not everyone is the marring type. If you know you don't want to get married than don't get into any deep relationships. Be open and honest with people. But women are usually looking for a life mate. So don't allow yourself to be tricked or pressured into marriage unless you are ready to tell your kids how much you love there mother and them and mean it.

NOT ALL PEOPLE MUST BE MARRIED. SOME STAY IN A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP FOR YEARS AND DON'T GET MARRIED BECAUSE THEY DON'T NEED A PIECE OF PAPER TO TELL THEM THEY ARE TOGETHER. PLUS AFTER A CERTAIN NUMBER OF YEARS, COMMON LAW MARRIAGES GIVE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME RIGHTS AS MARRIED COUPLES ANYWAYS.
GET MARRIED BECAUSE YOU WANT TO. IF NOT, THEN DON'T.
