different in each state, it is .08 here, for me a non to light drinker weighing around 180 lbs. i'd assume that 1.5 beers would be my maxmum, two beers i'd probably be in serious trouble.

ONE. If you weigh more than 250 lbs, you MIGHT be able to have two beers. Normally, ONE beer or glass of wine is all. One mixed drink MAY put you over the limit, depending on the amount of alcohol used.
It is VERY easy to cross the legal limit, and most times people think they are "just fine" when they are not. ANY alcohol affects your entire body, except your ears. (Makes you wonder why drunks don't listen...)

it differs from state to state. duis have become big business and good revenue for the state and county. when you get one, and i have, you lose your driving privledges for usually 6 mo. you have to take classes at a couple hundred bucks a pop, re-instatement fees and your fine. some states will put you on supervised probation for up to 6 years. then theres insurance, and they will use any reason at all to bump up your rates. when you blow into the tube, which you will, and it registers anything at all, your screwed. they will field test you until you fail. they have a quota to meet and will do anything to meet that. alot of peoples jobs depend on you getting drunk and driving. what started out as a good thing has turned into a money maker. it was madd, who put pressure on. the ironic thing is most alcohol related fatalities are caused by minors. mothers, its 10 oclock, where are your children?

Depends on your height and weight. At 2 you are close or over.
