Only once and he broke my young heart into many shattered pieces. After he got out of the service and came home, we were dating as usual... He had written and asked me to marry him, I thought all was well until my best friend came and told me he had married another girl in the state he was in, while he was still in the service.I was head over heels in love with this guy. I guess I lucked out. I ran into him years later at my sons football game... He asked me out and I accepted, knowing he was still married and also that I had a boyfriend.. My boyfriend and I had a date for the same night, which I was getting all decked out for... When my boyfriend picked me up and we came walking out of the house.. He was sitting across the street in his car... I turned and looked at him, smiled and kept walking... I guess that was mean, but it felt pretty good at the time.
