Would it surprise you to learn that Bush's Republican Administration has pitched and sold the OLD Southern Democratic Political View?

Thats the problem. Anyone who takes a good look at the Democratic party today, knows that it has left those old values behind. They are now the party of Abortion, gay marriage, gay rights and are anti-gun. They always raise taxes. Now the Republicans are the party of moral values, lower taxes for working families, such as the $500 per child tax credit and the reduction of the marriage penalty, both of which the Democrats latest budget will let lapse creating the largest tax increase in history. The Republicans did not steal these platforms, the Democrats left them to waste along the road.
