ppl who have one n dont really have a problem..

You have to have an illness that requires pain medications.This illness must be chronic.You get the forms from the government office,you have to be a person with dissability status.The doctor has to fill out this form.You can get one to grow it which is a different form after you have the first form done.( Canadian) It depends what country you live in (different laws) If you are canadian and live in british columbia it's not that hard.Just tons of paper work.Oh yea you also have to have a criminal check.If you have a record of possession or selling it FORGET IT. If you do manage to get permission you have to buy it from a registered grower or from the pharmacy.The pot you buy from the pharmacy is grown by contract growers and the government buys it from them and sells it to you at a markup of approximately 1500%.YES the gov. is making a profit on it.!!!! Think about that one for a while buddy.It ain't that good either.Low THC level

You have to have a medical condition that marijuana is shown to have helped, such as Glaucoma, severe pain, severe muscle spasms, cancer treatments. There is a long list of ailments that pot helps people cope with. In Oregon, you apply through the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program. You answer some questionaires, and if you qualify, you are allowed to grow a number of plants in your home, without reprisal from law enforcement. You are also allowed to have on your possesion up to one ounce. You do not go to your local doctor and ask for an eighth of your favorite type of weed, it isn't like that at all. It's easiest in California I think. I had a friend who got one for "stress". I wouldn't risk it though the Federal govt could come down on you like a ton of bricks if they wanted to. You probably shouldn't smoke weed and instead invest your energies into other activities.

Develop a serious form of cancer.
Require several chemo treatments.
If you experience a lot of nausea from the chemo treatments, the doctor MIGHT prescribe marinol to knock off some of the nausea.
