Simplifying for x
2x + 2y = 0
Solving
2x + 2y = 0
Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.
Add '-2y' to each side of the equation.
2x + 2y + -2y = 0 + -2y
Combine like terms: 2y + -2y = 0
2x + 0 = 0 + -2y
2x = 0 + -2y
Remove the zero:
2x = -2y
Divide each side by '2'.
x = -1y
Simplifying for y
x = -1y
Simplifying
2x + 2y = 0
Solving
2x + 2y = 0
Move all terms containing y to the left, all other terms to the right.
Add '-2x' to each side of the equation.
2x + -2x + 2y = 0 + -2x
Combine like terms: 2x + -2x = 0
0 + 2y = 0 + -2x
2y = 0 + -2x
Remove the zero:
2y = -2x
Divide each side by '2'.
y = -1x
Simplifying
y = -1x

There are an infinite number of solutions due to the fact that any value put in for either variable has a corresponding value for the other function.. If you graph this equation it is a line at a 45 degree angle with a negative slope of 1 that intersects the origin. A line has an infinite number of points.
It simplifies to x+y=0 btw.

0, because of the fact 4x + 2y = 0 6x + 3y = 0 sparkling up for y by timing the 1st row with -3 to make y = -6 and time 2d row by 2 to make y = 6 , yet then x and y to subtract out for this reason 0.

Start by subtracting 2y from both sides to get 2x=-2y.
Now divide both sides by 2 to get: x=-y. So pick any number for x and then the opposite of this will be y.

2x+2y=0
2(x+y)=0
x+y=0/2
x is positive and y is positive, they both equal zero.
or x = -y
or y = -x
