I have a fantasy baseball team and right now the Reds are edging out the Cubs in points by about 5....But does anyone think the Cubs would be a better choice in the long run?

As a fan of both teams (the Cubs with a slighter edge), this is a tough one... but I'd have to say the Cubs! While Harang and Arroyo are solid, the Reds need a little more than what they have right now. The Cubs on the other hand have Zambrano, who is struggling a bit right now, but you know that will end... Rich Hill who is my hero right about now(!), Lillys great, Marquis looks like he'll have a better year, a great bullpen... I think this will be a good year for the Cubs regardless of what it looks like now!

I would want Jason Marquis, Bronson Arroyo, and Homer Bailey (currently in the minors).

As for the others, morality works against almost all of them. Any Reds I didn't mention are adversely affected by the city in which their team plays. Carlos Zambrano and Rich Hill are gutless weasels who pitch dirty but can't stand it when opposing players get the better of them cleanly (although, in Hill's case, the second half of my claim hasn't yet happened this season... but it will, mark my words).

The Cubs who aren't carrying negative karma with them and weren't mentioned in my opening statement aren't able to shed the "injury prone" label. For anyone who's interested in knowing, those guys are Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, and Wade Miller.

Since the question asked which I would rather have, my opening line was enough. In an attempt to help you out, I'll offer some moral-free advice. Take the Cubs the rest of the way. Zambrano will pick up his game, and Hill's disastrous games will be far outnumbered by his yet-to-be-thrown gems.

Its very hard to tell. Starting this season, they look amazing with the rotation - Zambrano, Prior, Rich Hill and Kerry Wood. But their best pitcher Zambrano is struggling, and kerry and prior are right back where they always are - the DL. Rich Hill, on the other hand, looks like a Cy Young caliber pitcher right now. In the long run, i know zambrano will get his stuff together, so YES the cubs will have better pitching than the reds, who are still sort of rebuilding.

Reds pitching is better. Look at the two teams records. Cubs are on the bottom. They have some good pitchers on the injured list. Cincinnati has Harang who has done well and Arroyo who isn't too bad.

Im a die stressful pink sox fan and choose they didnt have somewhat some video games nationally. The announcers are so undesirable, Im no longer likely to get into that regardless of the undeniable fact that. Im no longer likely to lie they do play to many Sox, Yankees, Angels, Mets and Phillies video games on ESPN. I honestly have greater effective inning so idc yet that Brewers/CUbs would be a intense high quality nationally telivized pastime
