No name is perfect. More times than not people ask this question, and their names are easy to mock. I admit that I like Willow, though. What name HASN'T been used by some book or tv show or rock singer or porno star or whatever? No name is 100% original or unique. I don't know about Josiann, personally, but at least it isn't something that is easy to make fun of. I do wonder about those spellings for Ashtin and Zakery. Did you spell them right? You probably did. I'll never understand why people are so obsessed with spelling their kids' names differently than everyone else. Today's supposed "creativity" is a life time for those poor kids having to correct it every time someone spells it the "right" way. That's too bad.
At least I like the one you picked! :-)

I think the names are pretty. Your family put creative spins on rather traditional names, and it works well. "Willow" is a nice name and could also be based on nature. I don't think kids would make fun of your daughter for "being named after someone on Buffy."

It is all up to you. I would say that If you are going to go with Zakery...go with a more common spelling. I always hated it when people would spell my name wrong on birthday invites. As for naming your children after characters on a TV show...they probably won't even figure it out until you tell them beucase Buffy the Vampire Slayer isn't even on TV anymore.

The boys' names would be better if they were spelled properly. Ashtin is just girly-looking (should be Ashton) and Zachary should be spelled that way. Anything else is just cutesy and the poor child will have to spend his entire life correcting people when they misspell his name.
What is with this creative spelling? They're not dolls, people!

I think the names are nice. Different, but not weird. Kids will find something to tease other kids about, no matter what you do, so don't worry about it. Most of us have all lived through those rough school years, and we're just fine. Just do the best you can, and make sure your kids know you love them, and everything will work out in the end.
Good luck, and I hope I helped :)

I love your daughter name! I don't really care for Josiann because I dislike made-up names. Elaine is nice. I dislike Ashtin and Zakery because they are spelled wrong. I love Zachary though and Ashton is nice enough. William is very handsome.

The question is do you think they are okay?
Personally, I love your daughter's name. The others are unique as well, and I think that's one of the most important things to kids.
Most of them don't want to have the same name as everyone else, so good job.
