Well, I certainly wouldn't borrow any ideas from the movie 9 1/2 Weeks...what a piece of trash that was.

Well, I'll tell ya what I DID do once. It was Valentine's day. It was early in our relationship (within the first 6 months). In our apartment we used to have, when you open the front door, immediately in front of it was the bedroom door, to the right was the hall that went out to the rest of the place. I laid flowers (a mix of roses and carnations) to the door...candles blocking the way on the right. On the door I put a sign that said "Enter at your own risk". When the bedroom door was opened I had the flowers going all the way to the bed, and on the bed. Soft music playing. All around the room was vanilla scented candles (about 50). On the stand next to the bed was a fondue pot with dipping chocolate and a heart-shaped glass bowl with strawberries in it. A can of whipped topping. I had a bottle of champagne chilling in some ice next to that. I sat on the edge of the bed with a red rose in my mouth and had on an extremely revealing, red teddy. As my, now husband of almost 11 yrs, opened the door, his mouth dropped. I asked him if I made him feel red all over. And without letting him answer, I asked "Do you want to?"
I honestly wish I could have taken a picture of his face, it was priceless.
