Being an aussie all I hear about from the rest of the world is "vegemite is an acquired taste". I like it, I eat it by the spoonful like nutella or peanut butter. But when I first get foreigners to try it I do tell them to spread it on their buttered toast as if they were sprinkling salt or pepper on a dish, "less is more". They need to start with small amounts until they acquire a taste for it. ;)

Flax, and Tea. I used to hate tea, but after drinking it for a while I've come to enjoy the taste of it. Flax is still pretty gross, but I eat it anyway because it's so good for you. Coffee I believe as well is acquired. Never liked that till I got pregnant, then I started craving it. Now I drink it pretty much 24/7

Oysters, olives, dark chocolate, beer, dry wine, cavier, ramps (wild onions), polk salad (greens cooked in the South), cracklins (crispy pork intestines, a Southern favorite), "killed" lettuce (another Southern favorite--fresh greens drowned with hot bacon grease), pigs feet (I STILL haven't developed that taste!), peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches
