Answer: 2x + 2x^2

Working:

(5x^3 + 4x - x^2) - (2x -3x^2 +5x^3)

5x ^3 - 5x^3 + 4x - 2x - x^2 + 3x^2 =

5x^3 - 5x^3 = 0

4x - 2x = 2x

-x^2 + 3x^2 = 2x^2

Therefore, 2x + 2x^2
