Yes! The terrorists in Iraqi are attempting to defend their homeland in the only way open to them. They don't have the unlimited funds we do. We are also creating more terrorists worldwide because the friends and relatives of the people we kill hate us so much they are willing to die to kill some of us. Their memories are long and we will all suffer for Bush's actions for untold years to come.

Well, If you take into consideration, a country founded by killing off the indigenous and taking the land,(apartheid, ethnic cleansing) is what it is, no matter how you slice it. Now this scenario has replayed time and again throughout the worlds history, even creating the delusion , that there is a god, just to keep a control over the populations of the world, then reaping even more sinister plots against people in the next area, example Jimmy Carters book. Then lets never forget Africa, no don't include ww2, doesn't count except , for the bad things they still use to further the causes of misinformation and propaganda, so we are one of the biggest, funny how that 2% is controlling from the sidelines just as the puppet master, into the cookie jar of the world, and with the news media,(if you can call it that,(brain washing & misinfo), the pushing of this ageenda is not so visible unless you step back.

Any reasonable definition of terrorism must define acts terrorist acts if they target or indiscriminately/disproportionately endanger civilians. Under such a definition, the US would be guilty of terrorism in Iraq. What they now call "collateral damage" - yea, those are the innocent people who got killed because we didn't care about their lives as long as we got the one suspect we were trying to get.
Given the systemic nature of these actions, the US should probably be classified as a terrorist state, along with Russia, China, Israel, and a large number of Arab states and Islamic states. Obviously the State Department isn't going to admit that, though.
A previous poster references all the wonderful reconstruction we are doing in Iraq. This isn't responsive to the claim that the US commits acts of terror. No one is calling hospital-building terrorism, but the fact that we are building a hospital with one hand doesn't mean we aren't putting dozens of people in the hospital. Hizbollah and Hamas both have massive social services divisions - they help the impoverished people in the area get food and medical care that their governments are too weak and corrupt to coordinate (that's why Hamas got elected a majority in the PA parliament, along with the fact that Fatah votes got split between 5 or 6 candidates in many districts while Hamas only had one candidate per district). Just because they do these good things doesn't mean they aren't terrorist organizations, and by the same reasoning the US isn't excused of terrorist actions because it is building hospitals and power stations.

I think your intentions are good as you are probably a pacifist and oppose war. I don't feel that we are causing terror there, certainly much less is occurring than if there was not a strong military presence to control the political environment. If you want examples of what happens in countries with ousted dictators and very poor economic conditions, research the turbulent political histories of some of the Latin American territories, many countries in the African continent and even some is Asia. When dictators are overthrown, there is a scramble for power if there is no democratic system that appoints ELECTED leaders to take the helm. My suggestion to you is to study geopolitics and be more informed when having such strong opinions. Our effort there is more of a police state maintaining order and defusing potential rebels and/or terrorist and separatist factions.

I have always stated since the war started that we are as much terrorists as the 9/11 idiots. They attacked us unprovoked, we attacked Iraq unprovoked. They attacked us because they don't like our way of life, we attacked them because we don't like their leader or way of life. Iraq attacked Kuwait for their oil in the 90's and we attacked them because of that. We attacked them for their oil a couple years back. How are we different? When Iraq attacked Kuwait, there wasn't a bomb going off everyday at mosques and people converting to terrorism daily. We are actually as bad or worse than they are.

First off, America is NOT causing terror. We do not see Americans driving car bombs into market places or kidnapping and torturing civilians. Nor do we see Americans shooting people on video and beheading them in the name of a minor moon god called allah. You need to get your perspectives correct before you ask stupid questions.
We do see Americans building hospitals, schools, houses, grocery stores, electrical systems, irrigation systems, etc. I guess that is so terroristic that we need to label ourselfs hitleristic.

In this country we have a thing it’s called a library, in them there is a great big book, usually on a stand, it is called a Dictionary, you can ask the people that work there to show you where it is. Look up the letters D-i-c-t-i-o-n-a-r-y and read, if you can read, the definition of the word.

Are you calling our troops terrorists? I don't understand, do you actually hate America so much to call our troops terrorists? I'm not going to argue with you, because you hate America more than the terrorists do.
Also, note to stupid people, when the news reports the killing of Iraqi civilians, remember that Iraqi insurgents are technically civilians, and the news is liberal.
