Yes. You should never feel like you can't hold their hand.

If you (I don't mean you, in particular) can't hold hands with your special someone cuz you are worried about other people being around, then maybe you shouldn't have a special someone. If you are worried about things like that, then that person you are with couldn't possibly be your special someone and vice versa, right ???

I'm fine with public displays of affection... holding hands and kissing is good. Pressing someone up against a wall, thrusting your hips into them and giving them some tongue as your hands wander under their clothing is something that should stay behind closed doors.

He isn't a hand holder. I am, I think it's comforting and a show of feeling comfortable with the other person. A nice show of affection. I guess we are more just friends than anything... Not an intimate relationship... We share, but at another level.... BUT, handholding is nice when there is a special person to share it with.

My special someone is my 3 yr old grand daughter. I hold her hand, carry her on my back, run like a crazy person after her, and enjoy her hugs and kisses, and I don't mind who is around.

We hold hands. I don't understand who would be worried about other people seeing them.

I always wait for him to take my hand. I also expect him to walk on the outside. I don't worry about the other folks standing around though.

You should not be ashamed of who you are with in public. If you are then you shouldn't be with them if you can't hold hands.
