i guess this comes down to how much you trust TV networks--and i don't given some of the scandals and dealings that have come to light over the years.

do you really think Sanjaya did not have the votes to stay in Idol, or do you think the network either lied or arranged for some of his votes to be "lost"?

of course this is one of those things we would probably never find out for years if it's true, but i just think it was kind of convenient for the network/the show for him supposedly to have the fewest votes.

it's sounds like they got you and my attention, as well!
guess that's the important in that program is us, the audience participation, patronizing their platform, whether they got the real talents or not.
whoever participates in AI, will have their breaks... direction, it's up to individual. what left to us, i guess, to pay our 99 cents votes multiply by many times we did since AI started.
overall, the people behind the network and the program are all absolutely brilliant, especially lifting the American Spirits after the Sept 11 event.

yes AI is fixed, sanjaya only stayed on for a while due the publicity and not his talent!

if anyone fixed the voting it must've been simon... check out his evil, grinning face when ryan announced sanjaya was in the bottom three... dude, that was hilarious...
