My brother, who was a theater teacher and a whiz with stage makeup gave me a spectacular "black eye" when I was in the 10th grade. I have since used his techniques a couple of times, and they have always passed the "oh my, it's real" test.
Here's what you need. (I recommend Wet n' Wild makeup, as it is very inexpensive and will generally have the colors you need.)
1. A really dark red lipstick with blue undertones--not purple!
2. A black lipstick (if available--if not, a black soft kohl liner will do.)
3. A dark blue lipstick (if available--if not a navy blue kohl liner will do, again a soft one.)
Okay, make sure your face is clean before you start.
1. Take the lipstick and apply a generous swipe to your chosen eyelid, and then again under the eye. There should be about twice as much below the eye as above.
2. With your fingertips, blend, blend, blend. You want to use what you applied to move down under your eye in a semi-circle, and up above your eye to the brow bone. As you blend, keep in mind that the color should naturally fade away the farther it gets from your eye.
3. You should now look like you have a serious red bruise covering your eye.
4. Take the blue liner, and go over your eyelid with it. Again, blend like crazy, blending up and covering eyelid and crease, and moving up onto the brow bone. Do the same down below. Pay special attention to the inside corner of your eye, by your nose. That part should be mainly blue, not red. Blend the blue really well so that when it is over the red, it looks purplish, but let the red extend a little bit farther, so that it looks like inflammation. Use the blue to get really close to your eye on the bottom and top lids.
5. Now you should have what looks like a bruise with some serious inflammation around it.
6. Use the black to add depth to the bruise effect. Your eye should be more bruised looking right under the eye, so darken that a bit more with the black. Also, blend the black with the blue on your upper eyelid by the lash line. This should make the edge of your upper eye lid look very bruised. Use some black to blend into the corner of your eye by the blue, and remember that a black eye usually bleeds up onto the side of the nose.
7. Blend every thing really well. Blend it until you cannot tell without careful study where the black ends and the blue begins. There should be a little bit of reddish/pinkishness at the edges of the bruise.
8. If you choose, and your bruise looks good enough, you can draw one or two veins in under your eye with the blue, but blend them really well.
9. Powder lightly with translucent powder so it sets.
It is really hard to do if you haven't seen someone else do it, so I really recommend you practice applying it before the big day. Blending makeup with your fingers is also kind of hard to learn, so practice that during your practice session. You shouldn't have any blobs of color, and the reddish bit at the edges should be very well blended. The blue and black eyeliners serve to give depth to the bruise, and also to make your eyelids stand out a bit, which makes them look inflamed.
The three colors I told you will give you a decent black eye. Be sure to step back from the mirror as you are applying it and look at yourself, as the contrast between the bruised eye and the regular eye is what will help the "black eye" look more realistic. Don't go for regular round borders, but the overall shape should be rounded. Also, don't carry the color too far outside the outer corner of your eye and on to the side of your face, but do go down onto your cheek with it a ways. Look at the size of your fist to get an idea of how big it should be, or find a picture of someone with a genuine black eye.
When it comes time to take it off, use a lot of cold cream or eye makeup remover, but be gentle about scrubbing, because the skin in your eye area is fragile.
Good luck!

Well I have a long story that you probably don't want to hear but here it goes. My cousin matt was going out with this slutt named heidi. he broke up with her and got another girlfriend and heidi of course was really mad. So she put purple and black make up under her eye and told everybody that matt punched her. It all ended up good though and heidi got caught, but appartently that works. I know your a guy, but maybe borrow makeup from your mom to do that! Good Luck!

OK- First of all, you're so not ugly! You have beautiful eyes, judging from your pics! You need to get a cute shoulder length haircut (you have the perfect face for short hair) and some cute bangs! maybe some lowlights in your hair just to make it not look so bland. Use foundation on your skin, it helps with uneven skintone. Ask girls you see where they got their shirt (compliment them and ask where they got it) and maybe go to that shop and look around for some things. I PROMISE you're not ugly though.

I would use green and red in with a bit of yellow, as these colors occur naturally in bruises, and your skin. Also, maybe a bit of purple... Using a black or blue color will just make it look fake... A little of course is ok... it helps give it the bruised look. But keep in mind what your skin tone is.... thus adding red, green, and yellow will look more natural... YMMV. Also, use matte colors, the glitter in the shiny ones will give it a more fake look...

Use some purple eye shadow and maybe some yellow and blue mixed in. But if you really want to win the election, you maybe should show your dedication by letting someone punch you. hee hee!

I suggest powdered coloring from an art supply store (charcoal pencils). Mix black and purple/red into the area until a natural look is achieved.

Purple make-up (eyeshadow) works well with some black eyeshadow. Add a little grey and make sure to blend it but not so much as to make it a unknown ugly color. Circle your eyes with one color,,add the other around that color..and so on...blend gently. Good luck!

Use blue and black eyeshadow. Just make sure to get one with a "matte" finish so you don't look like a drag queen.
