This is a hard one. Do you say I Love You to the person? Of you do that was a mistake, you have put her hopes up, especially if you said it first. Maybe she is in the same situation as you than, maybe she is iffy about I Love You too. Also if you want to be with her and you care about her deeply, talk to her, just simply ask her what she honestly feels about your relationship. You need to be honest with her, if your not things wil only prospur in her eyes, and things will only be harder for you.

Why am I with this person in the first place? Did I ever love her? If so, I'd try to find what I fell in love with the first time. If not, I'd have no reason for being there.
Luckily, I'm very much in love with the girl I'm with.

no i wouldn't, there would be no reason to stay with that person if you're not in love with them and can't see yourself having a future with them
