Hey..just wanted to say that's not me that is thumbing down all those answers!

Many years ago, skipping out from school.
My sister and I were hitchhiking to a friends place.
Well a truck came up the highway, we both stand out, thumbs up in the air, in hopes to get a lift.
The truck pulls over, we go to hop in and holy cow!!
It's our Vice Principal!
Needless to say, I don't know what was worse? Him catching out skip out or our parents being told, then the punishment we both received.
Very awkward, that's for sure.

I was dating Steve and his father called and asked if he could talk to me about something important. Since he was a doctor I assumed the worst and worried all day about Steve and it was Christmas Eve. So dad comes over, and guess what he has to tell me? He wants us to see each other! The awful man! I mean how awkward is that? How did he expect me to act at his house for Christmas? That was a ruined holiday, that's for sure.

So many to choose from. Awkward, right? I think most of mine are down right embarrassing! Like when I wanted to empress a boy as I passed him on the snow-covered stairs outside school.
Instead, I slipped & fell flat on my can, slidding down 4 flights of stairs (we had to wear dresses to school back then). A bit shocked, I landed in the middle of the street with slush-cone undies & my dress up around my waist!
Do you think I got his attention?

i was nine i went to lunch with my mom at a fast food rest..i went to the bathroom and she ordered the food . when i came out of the bathroom she told me to go get some ketchup..when i got back to the table she told me my skirt and slip were up in the top of my pantyhose..the restaurant was full of old men..i wanted to die...

There are so many....where do I start?
In 6th grade..... we were playing "Truth or Dare"...and I was dared to kiss this girl who I liked"... I was so nervous... everyone was watching.... and everytime my lips got close to her mouth, i'd start laughing ( When I was younger, stressful situations made me laugh.... total defense mechanism ) This happend 3 times before she finally told me to f-u-c-k off.... lol. Very awkward.

Funny you should ask...not 1 hour ago, I accidentally backed up into my son's car and smashed the tail light...he had just put the new one on 1 month ago....then I had to come in and fess up....ya, it was awkward...I felt bad

When I was 19 and I got out of the shower and had to get my shoes from out of the bedroom where my date was at with another dude. They stopped long enough to throw them out to me so I could leave.
