I was watching it not so long ago, they had a re-run on one of the sky channels, I watched the episode where they discovered that red powder killed the aliens so they sent it up in balloons and stormed the alien headquarters with it.
excellent viewing. they should make a new series, but with all of the origional actors. Don't know what it was about marc, most certainly not the best looking guy, but there was something about him that made me fancy the pants off him.

properly it might somewhat be counted on how i'm approximately to die. If i'm approximately to be murdered or if it is surprising i'd ask for 5 minutes to think of approximately my existence, the folk in my existence, and that i'd prey. If it is yet in any different case and that i've got a sturdy quantity of time i'd communicate over with the folk i like and notice them one final time.

I loved it when i watched it...back in the 1990's with my mum, pity it was on really late at night.
I even bought the dvds of it.
I don't think the remake should have the original cast...they're getting past their prime...they wouldn't be able to catch the younger viewers and captivate the screen as they once did.

The actor who played Willy was better known for playing Freddy Kruger.

what i remember most about the series--in the first movie (before the aliens took root), Singer was photographing as a guerilla base was being attacked. one of the guerillas was taking his final stand, stood himself in the middle of the village, and tried to take out either an airplane or a helicopter with a handgun (i don't remember what happened to him).

flash forward--our plucky little heroine Faye Grant was on foot, being attacked by dastardly Diana who was piloting on of those little airships. Grant turns, plants herself midscene and starts firing her handgun at Diana's ship, making her final stand. we just know she is a goner. fortunately for her, i think Singer swooped in on another ship and cripples Diana's and she escapes. i really liked the way they sort of did those "bookend scenes." kind of powerful.

and our friendly Willie (Robert Englund) went on to be creepy Freddie Kruger. hey, who knew?!

The program was a childhood favorite . It has been a long time , and I was very young , so I recall very little about the show .
It would be great to see an episode again .
