SANTA MARIA, Calif. — Michael Jackson's strange whirlwind courtship with a 13-year-old boy more than a decade ago was revealed in court Monday by the boy's estranged mother.

June Chandler, whose son Jordie Chandler was allegedly molested by Jackson in 1993, testified that shortly after meeting the King of Pop, he showered the family with expensive gifts and first-class trips before making a tearful plea to allow Jordie to sleep with him.

"He was sobbing, crying, shaking, trembling," Chandler said of Jackson's breakdown one evening in March 1993, during a trip to Las Vegas.

"We're a family. Why won't you allow Jordie to be with me?" Jackson asked, according to Chandler. "I said, 'He is with you,' and he said, 'But in my bedroom. Jordie is having fun. Why can't he sleep in my bed? There's nothing going on. Why don't you trust me?'"Chandler said she relented,

gold digger? Oh, so anyone who says anything you don't want to believe is a gold digger. I gotcha now Well, if that's how you justify your love for this freak, it's your life. I find it pathetic.

2 reasons--
1) DENIAL
2)MORONS

C'mon, nobody can say with a straight face that michael jackson is normal for wanting to have sleepovers with kids...if he was their neighbor they would have already reported him. Michael Jackson is a sick twisted loser. I don't care how many "great" songs he's had or anything else--when you want to have slumber parties with little boys, you register as a pedophile in my book.

Because we don't want it to be true perhaps.
Fan or not, I didn't want all those negative accusations against him to be true, for the sake of the alleged victims.
And part of me hopes it was all fabricated lies. But that being said, I cant be in Denial of the allegations. I don't know if he's guilty or not. I wasn't there. Which means, I am not in a position to say he is guilty OR that he is not guilty. I can only hope that it is all untrue.
Fans or anyone for that matter have to be careful. There is a huge difference between supporting someone and proclaiming their innocence. The O.J Simpson case for eg. as well as Michael Jackson. I refuse to have an opinion on whether I think they are guilty or not. I don't know, I wasn't there and I I know I'd have trouble sleeping at night if I was wrong in my opinion. No victim deserves that, and no one deserves to be wrongly accused by the likes of what someone like me thinks.
Oh and for the record, I found it deeply disturbing that you printed the 13 year old full name. I understand it is publicly known already - but YOU didn't have to print it. You're lack of consideration, sensitivity or compassion, for this boy and his family cant help me but think you are really a loyal fan of M Jackson - a wolf in sheep's clothing. Because the most damaging thing about your paragraph is directed at the young boy not MJ

Anyone who says things I dont' want to hear isn't a gold digger. Anyone who has a history of trying to profit from the pain of her children (as this woman has done) is a gold digger.

I am a huge Michael Jackson fan. I don't know that I believe he actually molested the kid or not. At his trial, the mother was not credible.

Whether he's done something that horrible or not, Thriller and Bad and Smooth Criminal and all the other classic Michael Jackson songs are still good.

No that's not true. He has done a lot of wrong things like every other human being. He should not have held his baby over the balcony, he should not have gotten plastic surgery, he should have stayed away from boys...I don't think he molested them, but he still should not have been hanging out with little kids...

But his personal life is none of my business and I love his music and performing, and that's the most important thing to me.

Michael Jackson is a role model to so many people. You don't want your role models to be any less that what a role model should be. Celebrities always have some sort of scandal around them. It is impossible to be that perfect model for children when your watch constantly by the press. So you have to deny these negative things around them.

Michael Jackson fans don't ever want to believe anything bad about him because they're all filthy lies and rumors. Negative copliments aren't facts, they're opinions! People would invent the filthiest lies just to get some money. And stop trying to convince us that Michael Jackson is guilty because we would never turn our backs to Michael. Just back off and get a life!

How many molestation cases involved parents or other family members?? It has never been proved that Michael Jackson did anything wrong. The media has helped shape this negative viewpoint.People tend to act from fear first which taints any evidence(objectivity is lost). If having abundance or not and liking children is a crime, many of us are guilty.Remember The Dale Akiki case in San Diego,CA?? Research it!!

I think it is because he really was great. He came into people's lives with some outstanding performances. He was known as the "King of Pop." He made a lot of people his fans. It is really hard to believe bad things about people you have admired and idolized...in a person's mind there is still hope he "didn't do it." It is much like the Black Sox Scandal..."Say it ain't so Joe."

Maybe because true fans like to stick by what they love.

Example: If a football teams just has a horrible season, a true fan wont stop liking them, ya know?
