For the most part, I think that it's a place for teens//young adults to flaunt their faux idea of "cool."

I like MySpace, but I have to agree that it can get a bit addicting and you tend to obsess about it. You have to have a great layout, lots of friends, lots of comments, you wonder why the heck you're so low on people's top friends.
That pretty much happened to me. It got in the way of school and stuff that was generally more important, so my parents banned me from it. That's pretty much when I figured out how addicted I had been to it.
So, I guess the verdict is that it's okay as long as you don't get OCD over it.

myspace is confusing. since 2005, i've had 6 different myspaces. right now i have none though. i always find something wrong and end up deleting it. its time consuming because you always want to be on it. i'll probably end up making a new one within the month though. i always hate going through the hassle of adding all your friends again though. its a waste. idk. if i still had one, i might add you. lol. but i dont, so sorry.

well...i deleted mine like a week ago. I feel it's pretty pointless and it consumes time that can be spent in way better ways...but hey. that's just my opinion...

I like it...it helps keep track of your child's friend's and interests.
