I've listened to a couple of his radio shows. Sometimes Rush is profoundly into whatever it is he's into and I think he is over the top, but typically he has not just minor facts, but incredible amount of facts, footage, soundbites, etc. to back up his opinions annnd he openly usually admits when his opinions are piercing ranting from his own beliefs? I'm confused, I don't know why people get so upset with him... have high school diploma... what is the problem...?

He's CONSERVATIVE! The more educated you are, the more liberal you are, and the more you think conservatives are raving dumb@sses. Conservatives use common sense and facts from world history to burst the liberal pipe dream of a global utopia where those in government micromanage every level of life, from the family to the whole world, including defining what is right and wrong. Liberals want government to define what you can eat, what you can own, what you can think, what you can say, even who lives and who dies, all for "the greater good." Conservatives know it will fail -- and so do Liberals, but Liberals at least get to be the ruling class.

It's like Animal Farm -- all people are equal -- educated liberals in government are "more equal" than others. Conservatives stand in their way. They want more people to listen to Rosie than Rush.

He is a bit arrogant and snooty. But 99% of the time he is right. The liberals cannot stand when someone with half a brain sees through their garbage and rubs their noses in it! Way too many people in this country are misled sheep and follow what the network news tells them, or cnn, or their local congressfool! He is working to make people think for themselves and not follow the fools. That's why the libs try to tear him down!

He does pick on lot of people. Other people have strong opinion about him just as he has his opinions about issues. It's not surprising he gets that angry reaction from the public. And that's really not problem. That's just how the public behave. People bash Bush, Dixie Chicks, Ann Coulter, Limbaugh and whatever.

It's the tactic of the Left, never defend when caught in a lie, attack the reputation of the accuser and attempt to discredit him. Look at the tactics the Clinton's used against Kenneth Star.

Because Rush is Right. People are envious of those who are always right. But if you look closely, it is undeniable that the educated people are the ones who listen to Rush!!!

Its not because of Rush's opinions, obnoxious as soe of them are. Its because he is insulting, dishonest, and a hypocritical druggie. A real shining example of the "moral" right wing.

Some think it was hypocritical of him to lambaste drug users , while he was a drug addict himself and getting bogus double prescriptions for narcotics under false names .
