PJ, I know I can go elsewhere to post my opinions but I would be surprised to learn that Yahoo had no responsibility regarding the conduct of its employees. I am pretty sure they have an obligation to be impartial with regards to enforcing the TOS.

Cyanne, some accounts that were deleted had paid for email addresses.

Don Imus would have to be fired...OH, wrong agenda!

That's a great question and I'm sure it mirrors many actual situations that will never be known to the public. Perhaps we're all pawns?

Hey, wait, I really do think that activist lobby broadcast networks to air programming more fitting their agenda!

Legal ramifications? = Equal time?

PJ, there are always legal ramifications! Assumptions, promotion lead to certain beliefs. One might assume that given Yahoo's promotion, there is free interchange here. Afterall, "polls & surveys" are here.

Because this is a FREE service, you can't do a thing to Yahoo or its employee(s) for what you stated.

Probably none. Yahoo! is private & can set any rules they want no matter how arbitrary. When you click on "I accept", you agree to their rules. I doubt if they pay people to troll, ehy would they pay when there are so many volunteers?

I don't think you can. Yahoo owns the forum and they can delete whatever they deem inappropriate. Our freedom of speech doesn't necessarily mean that we force everyone to allow us to use their resources for our opinion, it means that there is nothing stopping you from starting your own forum and having all the opinions that you want.

i agree with you. but because they are their own entity they have the right to silence opinions that they don't agree with, and generally that would be cons
