Yes. Some people put stupid answers, and they're not even funny. Besides, it's not like you get anything cool with the points you have.

I would not delete, I would have to make a tough decision and base it on how the reply is worded- like it or not, it takes time to type in one, so why not give someone else the points, even if it is considered unlikeable.

Sometimes you can ask a perfectly good question, and.....nothing happens. I don't know if it is the time of day, the way the question was posed, or what the dickens went wrong. It happens to all of us and there's no one answer for it.

Delete it if you want and resubmit it in a different way. You never know what works. Short ones usually get answers, but lots of times with little information and you don't get the response you thought. That happens a lot too.

Bottom line, it's a crap shoot.

that happened once. the only answer i got to a question was an insult. i was gonna delete it just so the guy wouldnt get the ten points, but after a couple days one of the nice people from my contacts answered it too. so i was able to give them the points and not waste them. i actually sent that contact a thank you email for answering it too!

I would rather delete the question. I'm not giving someone 10 points if they're answer sucks! Maybe if they were being nice and they really tried....

I would just pick an answer, at lease you get 3 points. If you delete, you lose the whole 5 points...not that points matter anyways.

Yes. If I went to the trouble of waisting my own 5 points, I want some decent answers. If all I get is crap, screw all of them they aren't getting the 10 points.
