The flower children are now blooming idiots.
No disrespect intended but clearly we are seeing the result of errors over generations of time. The lack of religion is more appropriate than blaming religion for violence.

That is a puzzler. I am of the hippie generation, and I remember my peers all seemed to hate guns and war, they wanted to get rid of all weapons and also to get rid of self-control, it seemed. They wanted to "do their own thing" and not worry about what anybody else thought.
Maybe they were naive; by not acknowledging the warrior within themselves, they they allowed it to develop untrained and unrestrained? By not admitting that sometimes evil has to be fought, they let it loose unchecked?

yes the hippies in there quest for peace not only made them bad parents, they also cry for apeasing terror so are to blame for 911 and iraq
