Its one eye and he's 2 1/2 years old. Is he going blind? Please help

OMG! You all r so stupid her hammie has dry eye the cause of this disease is unknown and if you don't take it to the vet it might die. The vet will surgically remove the bad eye!

If your hamster was albino it would have had the raditional pink eyes to begin with, they wouldn't have gone white then red, best bet is to take it to a vet to see if it's an infection or worse, there's nothing much you yourself can do for your lil pocket pet.

Yes, the clouded cornea is a sign of blindness.
Fortunately, your hamster should be just fine without eyesight; just don't let him walk off the edge of a table, or something like that.
That's a pretty old hamster!

Since his eye is white, it means he eye is clouded and can maybe see a little out of it. Eventually, he will probably go blind.

Yep he should have died a year ago. That guy is old. It's not going to really hurt hem he will get by.I'm sure he knows his cage like the back of his own ummmm hand(hehe)?:P

sounds like a cataract. we also get these and ours can be operated on.. OR it could be a growth ,,,

better not to chance it . take him to a vet and get a professional opinion
