It would help to know if it is a salt water or frsh water tank. However, it sounds like you are overfeeding your fish, causing excess food to settle in the bottom and fungus grows off of this. First only feed your dish what they can consume in three minutes. You should never see any excess food in sight after they have fed. Next vacuum your gravel and do a 25% water change. Remember the feeding rule and you should have no further problems.
