You tested to early I know your excited and want to know wait two days before you come on your period with the first response test but for a more accurate result I would wait two weeks after I miss my period.

To get an accurate test result you need to wait until at least two days after your period is due( May 4Th). You can however get a blood test done at your Doctors office that will let you know for certain.
Brand doesn't usually matter. If the test was hard to read or you weren't sure...just hold off to see if your period comes when its supposed to. Until then relax and let your body take care of the rest.

Yeah, its still way too early to use a generic test. Those don't become able to detect hcg until after you've missed your period. There are some tests that are able to detect pregnancy as early as 5 days before you miss your period, but the rate of false negatives is increased every day you test before you miss your period.
