Why do you have to "put your two cents in"...but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to? Taxes?

You see, a person's thoughts are only worth a penny. Unfortunately, they tend to give you much more than that - their opinions, biases, and feelings. So, that is the extra cent. (And no, they aren't usually worth it! ;-)

Because your thoughts are supposed to be shared and nobody should have to pay for them.

Besides, your mind is worth two cents, your thoughts are 1 because that other penny would go toward the saving account for the mind that makes the thoughts

lol...yes....you should just assume that everything is taxed...even our thoughts
