No, I always said I wanted to be a teacher. I'm a 9-1-1 supervisor now. I do teach people in a way. I teach them to dispatch like it was their own family waiting for help.

I wanted to be several things... A jazz dancer.. teacher said I had a lot of talent and could take it far.. had to quit the lessons because parents couldn't afford anymore. I wanted to be a singer, a writer, took piano lessons because my mom wanted me to.. didn't like it and had the teacher fooled.. I would have my mom play my lesson( which I memorized the tune) played it for the teacher and got my A.. never did really learn to read notes. Now I wish I had. I wanted to be an actress also. Am I doing any of this? NOT! Although I wish I were. But as the old saying go's... You can wish in one hand and ....Blank in the other , but thats not going to get you anywhere. I write, when the words come to me. I had a couple of things published back in the early 90's, in the newspaper. About as close as I've come to any of my dreams as of yet. BUT! You are never too old to begin again.

I wanted to work in the dog pound and look after all the lost dogs that nobody loved. I work, mostly, in a nursing home looking after old people.

My life has made so many twists and turns that I am nowhere near what I started out to be.

Its like somebody switched bodies with me.

I came close. I wanted to be an artist. Didn't do that, but I became a floral designer, which takes artistic talent.
