Yes. Doesn't it make a beautiful picture? I remember one night in the late 1960's, seeing a perfect crescent moon with Venus right at the lower horn of the crescent. It looked like a picture, too perfect to be real.

It depends on the time of the year. Most of the time the planet Venus is easily seen everyday. Why? Venus is known as the morning and the evening star, the brightest star at sunrise and at sunset near the moon

Yes, it is Venus. The moon and Venus were a lot closer 2 days ago. The moon is heading farther away from venus (and the sun) as it heads toward quarter and full.

It is huge, isn;t it? I saw it too. It is Venus just below the moon.

Yes it is... impressive isn't it. I should peak in July or August this year and be at it's highest and brightest above the horizon.
