Sometimes one must wonder what goes through the minds of some people. We, as a nation, enslaved and abused, and treated Black humans like they were dogs, lower than us, and made them feel inferior. You think that because they do things in "freedom" to create more self esteem and to learn just how much their ancestors contributed even in the midst of hell they lived in, should not be so. Things are not called "Black History Month", ***** College Fund, NAACP, BET, JET, EBONY and so on because of racism, but in "spite" of it. I say don't let it hurt your itty bitty non Black feelings that if you did have a White History Month, it would be racism, because frankly, it probably would be. And don't fret, look around, there are still people out there that think Blacks are inferior, the the White man deserves the best, just keeping looking. I'm sure if you go to Idaho or such a place, you could even find a camp where they celebrate Whiteness over the bonfires. Oh yeah, just like the title, bonfires of the vanity.

Because every month is white history month. There, I said it. There'd be too much censoring if we did the REAL white history month thing. Instead of stories of overcoming adversity, oppression, hardship and racism we'd most likely have stories that people in the know are aware will be fabricated... rather than the true tales of of implementing oppression, hardship and racism onto other minorities, yay!

You need to do your history!

First, whites would not allow blacks to go to school at all. Whites we jailed for teaching blacks.

A later, when blacks were alloed to go to school, NOTHING about blacks, their achivements and contributions to America was not in any book, school or other wise. Everything was just LILY WHITE!

Blacks graduating from high school could not be firemen, policemen, electricians because they were not allowed to join any of the LILY WHITE UNIONS.

When TV came out, they were not allowed on any TV program. The First was Nat King Cole, and even though the show received extremely high viewing rates, they droped it because no white wanted their products advertised with a Black Face.

Not any book in any university had any of the contributions made by blacks in them.

Even the lie that Lincon Freed the slaves was instilled into blacks when in truth, after he got into office one of his first comments was how go I deal with the ni**ger issue because of the civi war.
Lincon had just as many slaves as everybody else.

Many whites do not know that a black desiigned Washington D.C.

Black History month was institued by WHITES to make up for leaving out the contributions made by blacks in the United States.

Your asking your questions, shows how effectively whites have ignored black contributions.

A black, robbing a store is on TV, and shown with other blacks in prison. A white, robbing the US government out of BILLIONS by over pricing toliet seats by $560.00 each, does not go to jail and is allowed to continue obtaning Government contracts.

Even in Iraq, US contractore are ripping off billions in uncontroled pay offs. But the are white, being paid by white, so it is OK!

Because white people are not allowed to have any organizations, holidays, institutions, services, gatherings or any anything else that would exclude the participation of any other race.
And I might add that BLACK history, at least in this country is also part of WHITE history, and for any one to suggest that the other 11 months are for whites only are just as daft as those who think that any one race needs to be celebrated separately from any other!
